Green City Growers will start their weekly gardening with a GCG farmer on Thursday, April 9th and will run through summer and early fall.
Each week, a farmer will be here at the Holbrook Public Library from 1 - 2PM to plant, maintain, and harvest our 3 raised garden beds on the Plymouth Street lawn. While they are here, they will educate us on what they are doing and how we can all start and maintain our own personal gardens.
This is a great way to learn while having fun. When it is time to harvest, you will be able to take home the harvested vegetables!
No registration is needed and it is open to all ages. Children under 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Teens may earn volunteer hours for participating!
