The Reference Department of the Holbrook Public Library provides patrons access to a wide variety of materials and services to help satisfy any information or library-related needs. The print collection consists of dictionaries, general and specialized encyclopedias, and other print materials which cover a wide range of subjects.
Utilizing our subscriptions, you have access to magazine and newspaper articles, ebooks, music, and other general reference sources. All you need is your library card; your library barcode is your patron ID number. If you have not changed your PIN, it is “ocln.”
Copying & Computer Services
Computer and copying resources are available in the library, including 12 computers with Internet access, a printer, a copier with scanning capabilities, free wi-fi, and built-in outlets for charging your electronic devices for your convenience. There is a charge of 15 cents/per page to print or make photocopies.
You can search the Commonwealth Catalog on your own and make requests with your valid Massachusetts library card. Reference staff can also help you search and request titles. If an item Reference staff can also help find and request materials from outside the state through Massachusetts Library System Inter-Library Loan, and you can check the availability of titles worldwide through WorldCat.
