Thank you for your interest in supporting the Holbrook Public Library. The best way to support the library is to get involved with either the Friends of the Holbrook Library or the Holbrook Library Fund. The information below briefly describes what these organizations do and how you can get involved.
Friends of the Holbrook Public Library
The Friends of the Holbrook Library is a 501c3 non-profit organization that raises funds to support all aspects of the library's mission, especially the library's various public programs and classes. The Friends fundraise through an ongoing book sale in the library entryway, large book sale events, raffles, and selling library merchandise such as tote bags. The Friends are always seeking volunteers to help maintain their book sales and other special events. The Friends host monthly meetings to discuss ongoing activities and new fundraising opportunities. New members are always welcome to attend Friends meetings, view the library's event calendar for upcoming meetings.
If you want to support the Friends without volunteering, you may make monetary donations at the library or via PayPal. In addition, the Friends accept donations of books in good condition, excluding textbooks, dictionaries, or other reference material.
